There is a reason regulars at our Asambu Road shop ask for Mysore Pak before anything else at the counter. Of all the traditional sweets we have made since 1965, this is the one that disappears fastest — most days the last piece is gone well before we close at 9 PM. Our cooks roast the gram flour slowly in a heavy copper pan, feeding in ladle after ladle of hot pure ghee while stirring constantly. As the ghee froths through the mixture it creates thousands of tiny air pockets — that is what gives our ghee Mysore Pak its signature porous, honeycomb texture that melts the moment it touches your tongue.

Soft Ghee Version or the Traditional Hard Version?

Mysore Pak comes in two schools, and we respect both:

  • Soft ghee Mysore Pak — our signature. Moist, aerated, and rich, with ghee in every pore. This is the melt-in-mouth style that made the sweet famous, and it is what we stock on the counter daily.
  • Hard Mysore Pak — the older, firmer style with a crumbly, biscuit-like snap. Some families swear by it, especially for longer keeping. We happily make it on request — just tell us when you order.
